You need a membership ID to sign up. It is the number printed on your My City Deal card and it carries a one-year subscription — see Membership Cards.

Creating your account on MyCityDeal takes about 2 minutes. You'll need an email address, your name, phone number, and a password.

The Registration Page

After clicking "List your restaurant" on the marketing page, you land on the registration form. Important: Look for the toggle near the top — choose "Restaurant Partner" (not "Diner / Customer").

Two-Step Process

The signup happens in two steps:

1. Step 1: You fill in your details (above) and click "Create account"
2. Step 2: We send a 6-digit code to your email. You enter it on the next page to verify your email.

What happens behind the scenes

When you click "Create account", several things happen at once:

1. Your account is created in our database with role RESTAURANT_OWNER
2. A 6-digit verification code is generated
3. We send the code to your email
4. You get redirected to a verification page where you enter the code

The whole process is automatic — you'll be on the verify page in less than a second.

Common Errors

If something goes wrong, you'll see a red error message. Here are the common ones:

Error	What it means	How to fix
Email already registered	You (or someone else) already created an account with this email	Try logging in instead, or use a different email
Password too short	Your password is less than 8 characters	Use a longer password
Invalid phone number	The phone number isn't a valid 10-digit Indian number	Check the number you entered
