Going Live

Once you're approved, your restaurant appears on MyCityDeal for customers. Here's what that looks like and how to make the most of it.

Your Listing in Search Results

When customers browse /restaurants, your restaurant appears in their search results:

Each card shows:

• 📸 Your cover image
• 🍴 Restaurant name
• ⭐ Star rating (will build up over time as reviews come in)
• 💰 Price indicator (₹ / ₹₹ / ₹₹₹)
• 🍽️ Cuisine types
• 📍 Locality + city
• 📅 "Book" button

Your Detail Page

When customers click on your card, they see your full profile:

The detail page has:

• Cover image header
• Restaurant name + rating
• Description
• Tabs: About / Menu / Gallery / Reviews / Location / Hours
• Big "Book a table" button
• "Order online" button (if you enabled delivery)

Going Live Checklist

Before expecting bookings, double-check you have:

• ✅ Operating hours set for all 7 days
• ✅ At least 3 tables added with realistic capacity
• ✅ At least 1 active offer (helps attract bookings)
• ✅ Menu has at least 10 items
• ✅ Gallery has at least 3 photos
• ✅ Logo uploaded
• ✅ Description filled in (both short and long)

If you have any ❌ on the checklist, complete it before promoting your listing.

Visibility Optimization

To rank higher in search results:

1. Complete all sections — restaurants with full profiles rank higher
2. Get early reviews — encourage first customers to leave reviews
3. Stay active — restaurants with recent bookings appear first
4. Respond to reviews — owner responses improve ranking
5. Use the Featured Listing paid feature for premium placement

First Bookings

When customers start booking:

1. You get a notification (bell icon + email)
2. Booking appears in /dashboard/bookings/upcoming
3. If you have "Requires confirmation: ON", you must approve
4. If OFF, bookings are auto-confirmed

For your first week, we recommend:

• Keep "Requires confirmation" ON to manually verify every booking
• Check the dashboard at least 3 times a day (morning, afternoon, evening)
• Respond to any customer queries within 1 hour
